Epithelial cell adhesion molecule (EpCAM) (EpDT3) (ID# 7739)

* The secondary structure may not be accurate because of MFOLD limitations on chemistries other than RNA/DNA.
2'-F-RNA
Cancer stem cell marker epithelial cell adhesion molecule
Protein
54.5 nM (reported value)
Assay Buffer: DPBS with 5 mM MgCl2, 0.1 mg/ml tRNA, 0.1 mg/ml salmon sperm DNA, 02% [w/v] sodium azide, and 5% FCS. The final concentration of MgCl2 was 2.5 mM.
37°C
NA If the oligo is a known aptamer sequence: For binding studies, perform a refolding protocol to ensure proper function (i.e. binding to antigen or target). Refer to the aptamer reference source for the appropriate refolding parameters and binding conditions. Note: it is unknown whether aptamer functions properly without refolding.
Binds to the EpCAM positive cell lines: Kato III(Kd = 54.5 nM), MCF-7(50 nM), SW480 (69.2 nM), T47D (74.2 nM), HT-29 (158 nM), and MDA-MB-231 (98.9 nM).
Does not bind to: HEK-293T (Kd > 1000 nM), SK-N-DZ (>1000 nM), and K562 (>1000 nM).
This aptamer is a modified version of Truncated Clone D. Also, it appears to be internalized via clathrin-dependent endocytosis following binding. See ref. for more details.
