Specificity: Showed ~10 fold discrimination between β-lactoglobulin (Kd=2.3 μM) and bovine catalase (Kd=3.1 μM).

Comments: This aptamer was selected using nonequilibrium capillary electrophoresis of equilibrium mixtures (NECEEM). Binding affinity against immobilized leptin was much lower (1.50 μM).
