Leptin
Protein
0.32 µM (reported value)
TGK 1X: 25 mM Tris, 192 mM glycine, and 5 mM potassium phosphate (pH 8.3)
20°C
Heated to 94°C and cooled at a rate of 0.5°C/s to 20°C.
Showed ~10 fold discrimination between β-lactoglobulin (Kd=2.3 μM) and bovine catalase (Kd=3.1 μM).
This aptamer was selected using nonequilibrium capillary electrophoresis of equilibrium mixtures (NECEEM). Binding affinity against immobilized leptin was much lower (1.50 μM).
